Stop and Breathe
You are a test dummy learning to move like a person. Unfortunately, you have not learned to preserve your energy, and so you must stop moving to let your body recharge. Make it to the end of the testing room while managing your energy levels.
Controls:
WASD: movement
J: Jump
K: Run
Stop moving to recharge. If you run out of energy, you will be frozen until you have recharged, or until you are awakened by a hazard.
This game was made for Trijam 314: The 3 Hour Game Jam, with the theme of "Pausing is the Gameplay". I built it on my own in 3 hours, but it is not complete. There is no audio aside from music, no player animation, and a single unfinished level. Also, don't fall off the level, or you will need to reset the game. I may revisit this game in the future, but for now I will leave it as-is for the game jam.
Most of the build time was spent implementing the player mechanics and finding the best way to build and import the level, which left me no time to actually build the level. Next time, I will reuse alot of the player code, and I will have a better understanding of developing the levels.
